Being Thankful

November is when the time changes for Oregon, ‘Spring ahead, Fall back’ and daylight gets shorter.

November 4th marks the first anniversary of my father’s passing and we miss him mightily, especially this time of year. My parents were all about family and loved when we could all be together. We seven continue this tradition with our own growing families and memories abound!

The days are growing cooler and soon the first frost will appear, setting the mood for the winter ahead. I am busily making and creating as the holiday shows grow near. I am happy to be able to participate in a few local shows next month. Restocking of shops continues in the hope of a much more relaxed and normal Christmas season. Please shop local, there are so many artisans and makers to choose from, it’s a win-win for all.

My Copper Heart has been picked up by a North Carolina gallery, Owl and Rabbit. It’s exciting to have my work on the East Coast!
